Dear Evan Hansen is a contemporary musical following Evan Hansen, a lonely high school senior with severe social anxiety. After a classmate dies by suicide, Evan fabricates a fake friendship to comfort the grieving family, accidentally launching a viral movement as his web of lies spirals outward.
